Gender Role Reversal Story - A Reversal of Fortune

From a technical standpoint, this caption story is probably my best effort to date.  The modifications were fun (lots of variety), and I like the simplicity of the layout.

This story did not go where I originally intended for it to go.  At first, it was just going to be a simple revenge story, but after I hit on the role reversal world slant, it just sort of grew from there.  I think it's a nice touch to have added pictures of the woman's changes as well.  It sort of adds a little realism. I thought about using a true "before" picture for her, but by the time I decided to do it, the story was written, and I didn't want to just add another frame that didn't really serve the text story.  Still, I think it turned out okay.

Sissy Caption - Base Desires

Today, or rather last night (to be more specific), my Imagefap Profile hit 800 fans.  It's always gratifying to hit milestones like that.

Sissy Caption - In the Background

I've had this picture sitting on my hard drive for a while, but I hadn't really had the inspiration to caption it until now.  Hope you like today's bonus caption!

Gender Role Reversal Caption - No Going Back

I was really pleased with how this caption turned out.  And of course, you all know that I love a good role reversal caption.

Sissy Caption - Idol

I've always liked the idea that we don't know what's lurking beneath the surface.  The person we all present to the outside world is so rarely who we really are, and it's such an interesting conflict when people try to reconcile the image they want to be true with reality.

Transformation Caption - Exactly Where I'm Supposed to Be

When I saw this picture, I was struck by its simple beauty.  It's not very often that you see tenderness in these sorts of pictures, so when it's there, it really, really sticks out (in a good way).  I did some lighting and color adjustments that I think adds to the soft, sensual feel, and I really think the result is simple, beautiful, and erotic.

This is the kind of story I always set out to write, but usually, I get caught up in the details surrounding the transformation.  Typically, it's a good thing to weave a more complex tale, but sometimes, it goes past what people really want out of this sort of thing.  It is, first and foremost, erotica.  Writing three-dimensional characters in a complex world comes second.  I'm fully aware of that, but at times, I just can't help myself.

I'm reminded of a post by a fellow captioner (Rauk at Rauk 22 Captions) who lamented his inability to write "mindless" captions.  To put it mildly, I feel his pain.  Like him, I've wrestled with that exact conundrum on multiple occasions.  So I guess I'm not the only captioner who struggles with it (which is really comforting, for some reason).  Either way, check out his work - it's quite good.

So to put an end to my rambling, here is today's caption:

Feminization Caption Story - Military Men

I've had this caption story finished for a couple of weeks now, but I really wasn't happy with the first frame.  It was one of those things where it simply wasn't good enough to post, and I hadn't had the time to re-do it before yesterday.

The core problem is that it's really, really difficult to find quality pictures of the faces (of the types of models that I have to use for these sorts of stories).  Most of them only have one facial expression (usually a generic smile), and the angles are almost always wrong.  Throw in the fact that the lighting is usually wrong, low resolution images, and bad re-touching of photos, and you have a perfect combination for a frustrating process.  But when I finally get it right, it's a really satisfying feeling.

I won't say anything I do is seamless, but I do think that a casual observer (who wasn't previously aware of what they were looking at) might mistake the mash-ups I do for real people.  And that's good progress, I think.

Anyway, I wrote this little caption story on a bit of a lark.  It's not as serious as some of my others (though it may seem so until the very end), but it was fun to write. So I hope you all enjoy it:

As an aside, for those of you who finished the story (minor spoilers incoming, for those who didn't read it yet)...please realize that I do not mean for this story to trivialize terrorism, the job our (and any country's) soldiers do, or the validity of female soldiers.  The nature of the "attack" is simply a plot device.  The perspective from which the story is told provided a means to disseminate information at a slow (but steady) pace while letting the reader see the feminization of a male.  And the chauvinism shown by the antagonists is, quite simply, a part of their culture (I actually  had a pretty in-depth backstory for them that didn't make the cut).  Much like in the Omar Bell Universe stories, the fact that I write a character with deplorable views does not mean that I share those views.  In short, you're not supposed to like those sorts of characters.  I guess what I'm trying to say here is that my stories are not to be taken very seriously, and are not meant to be offensive.

I guess I just wanted to make all of that very clear.
