I wish I had her courage back in the day.....
It is rather courageous to buck tradition, and tell everyone, "This is me. Accept me for who and what I am."
Great cap and great message.
Thanks. Amidst the humiliation and revenge fantasies, I do like to throw an empowering caption in there from time to time.
Nikki, you DEFINITELY did the picture justice.....and I hope that someday I will garner the strength to do as she did, because I've never TRULY been happy "being a guy".
Thanks. While I understand how and why societal gender roles exist, I've always felt that, when taken on an individual basis, it should be quite a bit more socially acceptable to bend (or break) those traditions.
When I read that you wanted to do it justice, I thought for some reason that it would be dirtier. As a way of balancing the softness, I suppose.I'm so glad that I was wrong! The photo, photoshoppery, and caption are all so wonderful. Thank you for this, and all the effort you must have put into it, and all of your work, it's all exceptional.
