Gender Role Reversal Story - Gynarchy

As you all know, I enjoy gender role reversal.  I've said a few times that I also really like to build worlds - maybe it's an alternate history.  Or perhaps it's  in the near future.  Either way, I've always had a soft spot for stories which combine gender role reversal and world-building.  I've even tried my hand at it a few times (the fake TIME articles and, to a lesser extent, the Omar Bell and Reparations stories) to varying degrees of success.  In any event, it's something that I think about quite a lot, so this caption series practically wrote itself.

I actually intended it to be a stand-alone text story, but I realized that it's far more fun if you can see it.  I'm really glad that I decided to do the pictures, too, because I think a lot of them turned out really fantastic.  I hope you all think so too, and I hope you enjoy the story!

    1. This one actually took far less work than most of my other caption stories. Part of it is because I didn't have to do any "before" pictures, I think.

  2. I'd love to see more of this world. Do the next generation decide to take things further? Is there a backlash in the opposite direction? What about parts of the world with less infrastructure? Are there unintended side effects?

    1. I'm not certain about how much further they could take it. This is a complete role reversal. As far as backlash, I'm sure there is (that could make a fun story). In reference to less-developed countries, I think the change would be more immediate - there are so few rules in third-world countries that it wouldn't be that hard to change the populace without them knowing. As with any change, though, I'm sure there are unintended side effects - I just haven't put a lot of thought into what they might be.

    1. I put that part in on a whim, actually. It served to illustrate how much the world had changed for both the reader and the people living in the world.

  5. What about relationships crossing the generation gap? Is it gay if a butch young girl fucks an older feminine woman? Or if a guy goes to the clubs with a college boi?

    1. I think most people would still consider it gay. Sure, there would be a bit of a gray area (an unchanged man, for instance, wouldn't look that much different than a changed woman), but I think that normality would still be considered man/woman. However, it wouldn't be that big of a leap to imagine that homosexuality would be far, far more accepted than it is now.

  6. I love the story. You should write about the Super Bowl match: the defeat is humiliating for male ego

  7. OMG I love your work! This is a great series but lets be honest it's not realistic, I mean the Jets in the Super Bowl??? But I would love to take the gene therapy, such great results :D

    1. Thanks! And by 2050, the Jets may have gotten it together enough to make it to the big game.

  8. Cool, like the way that it works all together. Though how this influences sex in itself (How it happens, even if it's just inferred here.) And such. So can't wait to seemore.

    1. That's the advantage of writing the history from scratch - I can make it all tie together. I've covered sex in some previous gender role reversal stories, but I may do something with this little world too.

  9. Did you ever consider going into politics ! LOL I take it, you're a liberal dem? :-) Or, would there need to be a new political party? Sorry if this was already answered in the story. I might have missed it.

    1. In a gynarchy, the parties would probably remain the same. Remember, these feminists are working behind the scenes. Nobody really knows what they're doing.
