Gender Role Reversal - Hoodwinked

Regarding the pending move (or lack thereof) to WordPress, thank you all for your responses.  Please continue to let me know how you feel, and I'll take it into consideration before I make my decision.

Feminization Caption - Hiding in a New Life

Apparently, the decision to censor adult content hosted on Blogger has been rescinded.  I'm happy that they've come to their senses, but I'm still uneasy about the implications of the events of the last week.  I wonder if the core philosophy has changed, or if Google simply recognized the loss of revenue.  Do they still look at us as undesirable?  Is our content any less legitimate than some sports fan?  Or a political nutjob spouting conspiracy theories?  I think it's clear that Google thinks so.

So what follows is a simple question:  how long will it be until they try this sort of thing again?

Moreover, do we want to associate with such a bigoted, closed-minded company?  I've already stopped using Google as my search engine of choice.  Sure, it's not terribly impactful, but that's my version of taking a stand.

So I'm torn.  Do I keep this blog going?  Or do I migrate to WordPress as planned, and give up the search engine optimization, the links, and the ease of use to make a point?  My knee jerk reaction is to say, "Fuck Google!" and move on.  But knee jerk reactions don't always result in the most prudent course of action.

Anyway - what do you guys think?  I'll put up a poll, but feel free to let me know in the comments section.

In the meantime, here's today's caption:

Also, remember that the other blog is still being updated (in case I decided to go with my gut instinct).  You can find it at The Feminization Station WordPress .

Forced Feminization Caption - Pledges

For the reasons discussed in the previous post, the Feminization Station will be relocating to WordPress, at https://thefeminizationstation.wordpress.com/ .  Over the next couple of weeks, I'll continue to post here and at the new site, but about a week before the deadline, I'll post a static page redirecting to the new site.  Hope the move doesn't inconvenience anyone; it certainly wasn't by choice.

Anyway, here's the new caption:

Google's (Blogger's) New Content Policy

I recently received an email from Google, explaining that, according to their new content policy, blogs containing  sexually explicit or graphic nude images or video will no longer be permitted (effective March 23, 2015).  Obviously, this site being what it is, the new policy will adversely impact its viability.

I'm obviously extremely disappointed that they've decided to censor what they deem "adult" content, not because it is going to be a hassle to relocate, but because of how slippery that slope can be.  Today it's adult content, but tomorrow, it might be homosexual content.  And the next day, it might be political blogs with a conservative agenda.  Where does it stop?

Now, I'm not going to claim that they don't have every right to do this.  They do.  In fact, it was expected after they prevented adult blogs from monetizing their content.  It took a couple of years, but I think we all expected it sooner or later.   But that doesn't make it any less frustrating.

It's even more frustrating for me, because I've spent quite a bit of time building up my search engine footprint.  I won't be starting over from scratch, certainly, but it will impact my audience's size significantly.  Nearly half of my pageviews come from search engines, after all.

However, I don't see any other choice but to move on.  I'll continue to post up until the 23rd (with reminders about the new site once it's up).

I'm not sure what service I'm going to use - I'm not exactly up-to-date on blog services.  I was quite happy with the ease of use of Blogger, so I didn't really expect to need to know any other options.  I have a Tumblr Page built, but I'm not sure if it's the easiest to use (or if it will do what I need it to do).

I'm open to suggestions, if anyone wants to comment below.

Fake Advertisement - Billabong

I haven't done any fake advertisements lately; part of that is because they typically take a lot of time.  Not only do I have to get the photograph right (usually without a background, which can be really tedious), but I also have to put a lot of thought into the layout.  However, when they do come together, I'm usually pretty proud of them.  That's the case with this one.

This picture started as a pretty generic photograph, but after some flattening (supposed to be a "boy" after all), the application of some filters, and some color changes, I think it has a nice feel to it.  I hope you guys like it.

Transformation Caption - Star Trek

I'm not really a Star Trek fan; certainly, I'm aware of it in broad terms.  I know the characters.  I've seen a couple of the films.  But I'm not terribly familiar with its universe.  That said, I immediately thought of it when I finished this photo's modification.  I'm not sure why, but the idea intrigued me.  I went through a few false starts before the story came together, but I think it works (despite my ignorance).  Hope you all like it.

Feminization Caption Story - The Harken Affair

I'm extremely proud of the transformation in this one.  It took a lot of work (and time), but I found the right pictures, modified them well, and arranged them in a way that made it seem like a (semi) plausible transformation.  I hope you all enjoy it.
