Seeking Opinions!

It's still up in the air whether I'm going to publish the Omar Bell Universe stories individually, or if I'm going to combine them into a few anthologies.  However, I do want to assure you all that either way they're published, the total price (for the whole series) will be similar.  For example, the prequel stories would be priced around $1.95 each, while an anthology (with 3 stories) would be $5.95.  It's simply a question of marketing the material properly.

That said, I've done a couple of mock-ups (which could turn out to be finals) of the covers for the first three.  Again, I'd use these if I decide to publish them individually.  If I go the anthology route, it will be an altogether different cover set up.  So here they are.  Let me know what you all think.

For The Bully, this is the cover I made:

For A Warning (formerly titled Stick-Up Boy):

And for Nepotism:

I'm not altogether sold on the cover for A Warning.  I like it; I'm just not sure if it's a good fit for this sort of story.  Again, let me know what you all think.

A Question

As I posted a few days ago, I plan to bring the Omar Bell Universe out of retirement pretty soon via a few new stories (which will be for sale at Amazon).  In addition, I'm going to remove the old stories from Fictionmania, and publish them on Amazon (after sizable re-writes).  I've already finished the prequels, and have started writing a fourth prequel story - so I'm pretty far along.  That said, I'm torn as to how I want to publish the work.  So, as always, I'm going to ask you all what you think.

The first option was my original intention - publish three volumes (prequel, during the change, and the longer overview story), and sort the stories to their proper place.

The other option is to publish each story individually.  The reason I got this idea into my head is The Big Pink Book's lack of sales - which I can't help but think is due (at least in part) to the anthology format.

The downside to publishing them individually is the amount of work I'd have to do on the covers.  Going from three to a dozen covers is quite a bit of work, and honestly, I run out of (doable) ideas.  The upside is a lot higher monetary potential.

So what do you all think?  Three books of short stories?  Or individually published stories?  What's your preference as readers?

An Update on Books

I just wanted to let you all know that there's been a slight change of plans when it comes to the next book I'm going to publish.  After quite a bit of thought, I've decided to publish the Omar Bell Universe stories on Amazon.

So, after reworking them (giving the stories a bit more substance), I'll be combining them into three separate works.  The first will contain the previously published prequels (The Bully, Nepotism, and Stick-Up Boy) as well as a new story set within that time frame.  In similar fashion, the second book will contain the stories Dr. Bell's Vengeance, The Football Star, Best Friends, and Married (again, with a new story to be included).  And finally, the last book will be a reworked version of David Jones and the Pursuit of Dr. Bell.

I know that many of you have read these stories, but I hope that the re-writes and additional stories will be enough to entice you into reading them again.

After I'm finished with those, I intend to go ahead with the original plan of publishing a story dealing with a professional basketball player who inexplicably begins to turn into a teenage girl.

After that, I'm going to publish the pseudo-sequel to An Experiment (which is a story in which a cop from a gender role reversed future must travel back in time to prevent a nefarious plot).  I call it a pseudo-sequel because, while it's set in the same world, it doesn't really have much to do with the characters in the first story.  I intend for them to make a cameo, but they Alex and Casey will not be major characters.

So that's what I'm working on right now.  Hopefully, by the time I'm finished, you'll all enjoy the future projects.  As always, you can find my currently published books at MY AMAZON AUTHOR PAGE.

Male Pregnancy Caption - Acceptance

I don't know what it is about the idea of male pregnancy, but I think it's an incredibly hot concept - especially with the right picture.  I've had this particular photo for quite a while, but until yesterday, I wasn't able to get the modification right.  It was okay, but I wanted it to be perfect.  I wanted the modification to do the picture justice.  So I put my nose the grindstone yesterday, and an hour or so later, I had the picture finished.  I hope you all like it:

Feminization Caption - He's Krystal Kinsey

I don't typically do a lot of "tribute" captions because I usually feel like I'm infringing on the other artist's territory.  However, there are times when I simply can't help myself.  This is one such time.
This caption is based on a recently released story by Cooper, called He's Krystal Kinsey, in which a young singer is given the choice between maintaining his masculinity or seizing fame.  He, of course, chooses fame, and is swept up in a whirlwind of feminization, culminating in a complete transformation (gender, race, personality, etc.).
I'm a huge fan of Cooper's (I've read all of his stories), and this particular story really hit upon quite a few of my kinks.  I haven't quite finished it, but I felt the need to create a caption anyway.  I hope I did the story justice.
You can find Cooper's work on Amazon at HIS AUTHOR PAGE.  The listing for the book in question can be found at HE'S KRYSTAL KINSEY.
As an aside, I really liked a couple of Cooper's other stories, including Cramps and Sacrifice.
