First off, I just want to say that May was an a fun, weird month where I sort of stretched my creative legs a bit.
It didn't start out that way, though. The first release (The Shape of Me) was a story about a man coming to grips with his femininity in an increasingly black-dominated world.
It featured the gorgeous Aria Alexander, and was a continuation of the themes which have proven so popular in my previous stories.
However, the second release (Mother) mixed things up a little. Not only did it feature an older model (the busty Kendra Lust), but it also focused on a magical (as opposed to a more realistic) transformation of a young man into his mother's twin.
And to my surprise, it was extremely well-received (I admit that I expected the audience to be split on it).
Even if Mother was far better received than expected, May's last release (Chrysalis) delivered the sort of mixed reviews I had anticipated. Featuring Brittney White, it was the story of an old man who, in an effort to regain his lost youth, undergoes an experimental medical procedure that leaves him wholly transformed.
Like I said, it was a love-it or hate-it sort of story with few reactions in between. But I don't think that's a bad thing.
All in all, I think the month was successful, and I'm proud of the work.
June, I think, will be even more successful, though, because after the palate cleanser that was May, it will be a bit of a return to form.
Up first (on June 3) is a story called "Balance", which focuses on an alternate version of our world where the female population has dwindled to the point where barely 1 out of every 100 people are born female. To deal with this imbalance, the authoritarian government has created a system in which certain young men are turned into women. The story (which features the adorable Kylie Quinn) itself follows Dylan, who is one of those chosen.
The second June release is "Climbing the Ladder" (June 19), which follows a young, aspiring photographer as he transforms himself in order to better fit into his chosen industry (fashion). It features Ash Hollywood.
And finally (on June 30), there's an as-yet-untitled story which focuses on a car salesman whose dealership is taken over by new owners with a feminist bent. It features Adriana Chechik.
So, June promises to be a fun, exciting month, and I hope you'll all love reading the new stories as much as I enjoyed writing them!
