Venting

I think one of the things I hate more than anything is when I choose a model for a story, and it just doesn't seem to work out.  For instance, I've been trying to make the whole "Shae Summers" thing work for the last couple of days, and it's frustrating me to no end.  For one, there just aren't a lot of pictures of her out there.  Apparently, she's semi-retired from the business, so what's out there is all there's ever going to be (probably).  For another, even if I can get the number of photos I need for the story (which I probably can), I don't have enough to facilitate a proper transition timeline.  Basically, I need a ton of (good quality) face angles so I can piece together a solid transition with different body models.  It sucks, but I don't think Shae has enough photos (ugh) to work with. On top of that lack, whoever photographed the poor girl caked enough makeup on her and used enough soft lighting that she doesn't even look like she has cheekbones most of the time.  Like I said, it's incredibly frustrating because I had already decided to use her.  I think I'm just going to have to go back to the drawing board with this story.

I suppose I should be grateful that I'm a little ahead of schedule right now so I can afford a hiccup like this.  In any case, thank you all for your input on model choices.  I'll keep those in mind as I try to figure out what I'm going to do with the story.

Okay - so that's enough ranting for today!  I'd love to hear any model suggestions you all might have.  Just use my CONTACT ME page and let me know what you'd like to see!

    1. I'll still probably use her, but it likely won't be anytime soon. I can't find a "before" model I really like.

  2. If anybody brings up the fact that the main character's appearance changes drastically midway through the story for no apparent reason just tell that a wizard did it.

    1. If it's too drastic a change, I just throw a couple of surgery frames in there. That, at least, makes it slightly more realistic, usually enough to suspend disbelief.
